Terminées Verrouilléee En cours
Dear all,

The first meeting of the workshop "Is the pharmacy supply cooperative model suitable for Africa?" will take place on June 16 from 14.00 to 15.30 (CET time, a Swiss time) in videoconference.
The zoom link is the following: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82522538755

The objective of this workshop is to analyze the relevance of the cooperative model for the distribution of pharmaceutical products in African countries.
The goals of this workshop are
• To promote cooperative model for the distribution of pharmaceutical products in African countries.
• To prepare a pilot project in one or more African countries. The first country identified is Cameroon but other countries could be considered.

For this first meeting, we suggest the following agenda :
• Quick round table introduction of participants (organization, role)
• Recall our approach and objectives
• Recall the principle of the GHF workshops and the workshop support platform
• Present the synthesis article (See attachment)
• Validate if there are comments or questions to integrate in the next version of this report
• Ask the participants for their opinion on 3 three points
o To see which themes address knowing that we could make 3 working videoconferences from September to April 2022.
o To see the opportunities (conference, publication, meeting...) to use in 2021 and 2022 to promote our idea
o to see which organizations invite to participate.

Fell confortable to send remarks and ideas if needed.

Best regard,

Jean-Pierre

Bonjour

I am pleased to participate in the first meeting of the workshop "Is the pharmacy supply cooperative model suitable for Africa?

The Geneva Health Forum has strengthened its support for the development of the workshops. The workshops should enable us to obtain concrete results and influence the international health organizations present in Geneva.

The distribution of medicines in African countries is an essential prerequisite for achieving Universal Health Coverage. The results of your workshop are therefore very important.

To facilitate the work of the workshop, the Geneva Health Forum is developing a workspace on an electronic platform. In this workspace you will findA presentation of the workshop
• The list of workshop participants
• A discussion forum allowing to exchange between the members of the workshop
• The working documents of the workshop
• A news feed with information posted by the participants
• Videos or photos related to the workshop theme
• The main tasks that will be done during the workshop
• The dates of the workshop meetings

I leave you a document in attachment that tells you how to use this platform.

Dear all, following our virtual seminar today, please find the PPT use by Samuel and Willy for their presentation. As I say, feel comfortable to share with us any contacts or reports to improve the reference document.
As a follow-up, we can expect another mail by the end of the summer to see the relevance to organize another seminar in preparation of the one in Geneva in May 2022.
Again, thanks all of you for your input!

Best regards,
Jean-Pierre
